About the role
The Ubiquiti Pilsen office is looking for a Network Administrator with knowledge of scripting and willingness to improve in programming. You will be responsible for the design of new tests covering UniFi Gateway functionality. You will be in touch with our R&D department while looking for solutions on how to solve issues you found. Your good knowledge of network protocols is going to help us deliver devices matching RFC specifications. 

Candidates should be prepared to work from our Pilsen office with the possibility to work from home after onboarding.

Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day work with various kind of Network type devices
• Create, maintain and execute automated test scripts
• Design and implement network scenarios in our test framework

Knowledge and experience

Must have:

• Strong understanding in Network (L2/L3 network protocols, 802.1Q,…)
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix
• Scripting languages (PHP is preferred)
• Personal attitude
• Fluent in English and Czech
• Willingness to learn new things on a regular basis

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of QA (automated / manual) workflow
• Experience in unit / integration testing
• System Administration
• DevOps (CI/CD setup & administration, Terraform scripts)
• Virtualization (Docker, Proxmox, clusters etc.)
