Job Details
The role will independently work with cross-functional teams to lead multiple projects at the same time from ID concept to mass production in fast-paced product development cycles for delivering great products to the markets.
Responsibilities
- Create and evaluate new product concepts
- Participate in evaluation and selection of material, components and manufacturing process
- 3D modeling, engineering drawing drafting and tolerance analysis
- Troubleshooting of design, tooling, production issues
- Perform tests and conduct engineering analysis
- Competitive product analysis ( Component / Material / Process / Mechanism / BOM Cost )
- Explore and analysis new material, technology and manufacturing process
Basic Qualifications
- Expressed interest in mechanical engineering in networking industry
- Demonstrated aptitude for creative, “out of the box” thinking
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn new things
- Understanding of basic mechanics, material science, tooling and manufacturing.
- Good root-cause analysis and problem solving skills
- Great communication skill for collaborating with cross-functional team members and suppliers
- Fluency in English
Technical Requirements
- Proficient in 3D CAD tools (Solidworks preferred)
- Great ability for solving problems with statistical tools.
- Experience of industrial and consumer power product design.
- Familiarity with Safety Standards including UL and IEC .
