Job Overview –
We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer who is a motivated self-starter to join our growing team. The Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for representing the support organization and assessing product support issues as they arise.
The main focus of this position will be debugging and analyzing issues electronically and by phone. Successful candidates will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as a high degree of analytical and investigative skills.
Maintain trouble ticket system to track customer correspondence
Provide pre-sale and post-sale support via phone
Provide email support to premium customers
Work with other support engineers to solve complex issues
Generate and review wiki knowledgeable articles
Analytical troubleshooting skills
Knowledge/understanding of Linux and tools such as txpdump, iperf, etc
Must be familiar with wireless technology: 802.11a/b/g/n
Absolutely must be a self-starter and highly motivated to get things done
Able to keep up in a fast-paced ever-changing environment
Excellent verbal and written skills
